STEAM Train offers a variety of programs that cater to all ages.
Adventures In Learning
AGE RANGE: 3 - 12 years old
A week-long camp that introduces youth ages pre-school to 6th grade to STEM careers. Held in conjunction with Adventures in Learning, students are exposed to hands-on scientific experiments, computer technology, engineering disciplines, multi-media, and gain mastery of mathematics as a skill that is fundamental to STEM.
Mobile Application Development (MAD) Programming Camp
AGE RANGE: 13 - 19 years old
A week-long programming camp that trains participants
13 years and older on the fundamentals of programming and the basics of developing applications for mobile devices. Students develop a functioning app for different mobile platforms. The coding camp is held at Middlesex
Fast Track Academy
AGE RANGE: YOUNG ADULTS, ADULTS
A workforce development program that is designed to offer underserved and unskilled individuals, especially those who are single parents with dependent children opportunities to develop skills for the STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) workplace. The program will offer training in workplace skills and an apprenticeship.
STEAM Train will collaborate with partners to extend services that move people to increased knowledge
and sustainable income.
AGE Range: 13 - 18 years old
STEAM Bound, a 7-week program is a collaboration between STEAM Train & UPWARD BOUND MATH SCIENCE(UMBS) of Wesleyan University. The goal to enrich the existing offering to the UBMS participants by providing specific exposure to the disciplines of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, digital Arts, and Math).

STEAM Machine is an after-school program offered at Farm Hill Elementary School to provide exposure to the disciplines of STEAM so students can develop critical thinking skills and discover the wonders of science, technology, engineering, digital arts, and mathematics.
GearUP STEM Career Camp
AGE Range: 8th grade students
GEAR Up STEM Camp is a summertime program that was offered by STEAM Train to 8th grade students of the Meriden Public Schools to provide specific exposure to the disciplines of STEM. The program allowed students to engage in meaningful career exploration discussions with a diverse group of STEM professionals and to discover the wonders of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

Life Skills Training
This is intended to enhance the participants’ longevity in the work environment and will seek to cover topics such as:
